Meet the Author
Luz Marino is a devoted Christian, lifelong Bible student, and passionate storyteller whose life has been shaped by faith, service, and a calling to witness. Her journey as an author began with a heartfelt decision to share the transformative power of the word of God in her own life. That calling came to fruition in 2024 with the publication of her debut book, 3 Habits for a Joyful Life: Serve, Grow, Share—a practical and spiritual guide rooted in personal testimony and biblical truth.
For over a decade, Luz faithfully served as a church member and volunteer with The Salvation Army in Kearny, New Jersey, where she cultivated a deep commitment to community and ministry. A pivotal moment came in December 2018, during a Christmas service at the Salvation Army Chapel in Evanston, Illinois. As she listened to a sermon drawn from 1 John 1: 1–4, she experienced a divine response—an unmistakable affirmation of the message and structure of her book. That spiritual revelation reignited a promise she had made years earlier: to witness for the Lord through her words and life.
