About Luz Marino author of 3 habits for a joyful life

Christian author Luz Marino was born in Lima but grew up in various cities in Peru. Her childhood was filled with vivid experiences due to her father’s job as a police officer; her family relocated to a different town every two years.

She graduated from CAP GC Alipio Ponce Vasquez High School, and afterwards, attended the Private Educational Institute, I.E.S. Margarita Cabrera, in Miraflores, Lima, to obtain her Certification as an Administrative Assistant. Later, she pursued formal entrepreneurial education at the University Inca Garcilaso de la Vega. Although she dropped out of university, she began an ongoing self and continuing education.

When Luz was twenty years old, she became a mom and raised her daughter as a single parent while she herself was growing as a new Christian under the guidance and wisdom of the Word of God. Furthermore, it poured into her faith, spiritual understanding, and the call to serve and improve in all areas of life.

In 2001, Luz founded ADAIP, the “Peruvian Association of Integral Help,” and led social campaigns for people in need on the outskirts of Lima; she participated in other activities for the organization for three years.

Her transformational faith journey led her to move to the United States in 2004, where she established a career in Digital Marketing, which began in 2010.

Such a personal journey instilled in her a desire to share her testimony and story, driving her to draft the first chapters of her book, 3 Habits for a Joyful Life: Serve, Grow, Share, in 2019.
